We have known Miwa for more than 10 years. We first met when she worked at Gjelina To Go in Venice and asked to take photos of her. We have since photographed her many times for personal projects and bigger jobs like AT&T. Over the years she has shared stories of her family, sisters and parents. So it was truly special to finally meet Wasa and Teresa after hearing so much about them. We spent a morning talking about how their love for art, how it is a meditation for them. Wasa carves wood spoons from wood he gets from his garden and Teresa paints her family.
